A table of four costs €30. "It will be a night of fun with some terrific prizes and we are appealing to all to support it," says St Anne's PRO, Linda Harbron.

"We enjoyed fabulous success in the Féile this year.

"The girls footballers were runners-up in Division 4, the camogie team won Division 4 and the boys won Division 6."

p ALL are invited to the Scoil Uí Chonaill Festival Weekend, which begins this Thursday.

Sunday is Family Fun Day. There will be stalls aplenty plus games galore.

But the Scoil managers might be hard to find. Plans are being hatched for a Hit the Manager game (with a wet sponge) – already there is a queue stretching down to the Bull Wall!
