HERO of the week is Ryan Grayden from our under 14's. Take a bow Ryan. Our under 10's travelled to Kildare and played a terrific tournament hosted by Raheen, many thanks to Raheen for their hospitality and congrats to Branden Carey and Cian Hill on brilliant displays during the event. As per our hero of the week, Ryan Grayden was superb for 14's as they had a massive league win over Cuala, and he was well supported by Ryan Pepper, Aussie and Eamon Hill. The lads capped off this great week with a competitive challenge game against Kilmacud Crokes. Our 16's won and lost a game in the Tom O'Donohue tournament last Wednesday and now play Ramor in final, date TBC. The lads lost a league game and were given a walkover in cup on Saturday. Big thanks to 15's for loan players with Lee Lindsay and Ryan O'Leary back after lengthy lay offs. League Tuesday night and challenge against Sarsfields Kildare Thursday night both in Pairc Ciceam at 7.45. Our minors kicked off a busy league schedule with a fine win with Jamie Doyle, Elliot Craig, Karl Kealy, Eric Cumberton brilliant and man of the match, Conor Kavanagh excellent. The club would like to wish a speedy recovery to Adam McGrath a speedy recovery from his illness. Huge thanks to DCU and Ken Robinson in particular for hosting our annual primary schools tournament run by club GPO James Glancy, and congrats to all the local primary schools and teachers on their participation. IT was a big week for the club as Castleknock was the host for 'Hurl Smart Week', an initiative ran by the Camogie Association in Dublin. A huge number of people were involved, and all details and photos of events that took place can be found on website. Well done both minor football teams, who returned to action after exam break with two good wins. The first team overcame Sylvesters, while second team had a good win against St Finian's. A mixed week for hurlers this week, who had a good win on Wednesday in Championship, but lost out to Barrog at weekend in league, not helped by a severely depleted squad. A lot of football action this week, with Intermediate footballers in action on Wednesday away to Naomh Olaf, and on Saturday at home to Naomh Fionnbarra, and second team hoping to continue their run in Championship on Thursday at home to Scoil Uí Chonnail. All support welcome as always. It was a very sad week in the community this week, and the club would like to send its condolences to the families of Dorothy Linnane, Rory Doherty and Brian Rossiter. CONGRATULATIONs to our U12 footballers who put together two impressive back-to-back victories in Division 1. First up was a commanding midweek home win against Round Towers during which all players took the opportunity to showcase their skills. This was followed over weekend by another good win, this time away to St Judes. This leaves the team in a well-deserved, top-of-the-table position. Our U16 footballers continue to show the strong form that won them their division final against St Maurs. In their latest outing against Skerries, when both teams played some great football and racked up some fine scores, Clanns went on to win 3-10 to 2-9. Our U-13 footballers did not enjoy the same fruits of their labour unfortunately with their winning streak coming to an end this last weekend. Missing quite a number of their regular players away in the Gaeltacht or on holidays, they went down to a skilful Na Fianna side. Hopefully, the return shortly to a reasonably full squad again will enable the team to maintain their current position atop of Division 5. Unfortunately, our senior hurlers bowed out of the championship losing by a margin of five points away to Commercials and their attention must now turn to important forthcoming league fixtures. Finally, there was no lotto winner (10 June draw): the Jackpot A numbers were 11, 14, 18, 24 and 28; the Jackpot B numbers were 3, 4, 7, 13 and 30.

TOTW is our Junior B Hurlers, defeating Na Gaeil Óga in the league. Elder lemon Matt O'Neill gets the MOTM award, with Chris Geoghegan and Jack Loftus also impressing. Brian Gaffney, Ross Donelan and Senan McCann were three players that stood out in what were great team performances. Our Junior A hurlers also had a good week, winning in league and championship. QF of championship is at home on P34 Tue evening 2nd July. Juvenile mentors are asked to bring up lads and support team. Please see extended club notes on website for all match reports. Kids Club Camp for football and hurling is Aug 12th-16th from 10am in St Paul's for boys and girls aged 5-13. Cost €55, discounts for additional children and early registration. Participants also receive Clontarf jersey and t-shirt. Forms on website or simply register on day. Tonight Joan will be with the angels explaining the basics of ground cuts & making sure they are all togged out in blue. We will be all the lonelier over the coming summers. The support of Dublin fans is there for Joan's family around the world. The Club also extends its sympathies to John Hallinan and his family following the loss of life-long Dubs fan Joe Hallinan. BHÍ an cluiche deireanach sa "round robin" den Craobh Idirmheánach againn ar an gCéadaoin agus d'éirigh linn an lámh in uachtar a fháil ar Faughs. Bhí an-chluiche ag Seán. Ar an Satharn theip orainn san AHL 2 in aghaidh Baile Buadáin.Bhí ceathrar in easnamh againn agus chailleamar Stephen go luath sa chéad leath nuair a bhris sé a lámh.Ar an Déardaoin chríochnaigh na Sóisir ar chomh scór leis Na Stárseirbhís sa Chraobh agus mar sin beidh cluiche sa cheathrú-chraobh againn sa bhaile. Ar an Domhnach bhí bua eile ag na Sóisir sa sraith in aghaidh O'Dwyers agus bhí an-chluiche ag Dean agus ag Devin freisin. Ghlac níos mó ná trí scór daoine óga faoi 7 páirt in Blitz idir Setanta agus Na Fianna ar an Aoine.An-oíche ag gach duine. Tá ár mbuíochas tuillte ag na daoine a ghlac páirt sa mion-maratón ar son Setanta le déanaí.Maith sibh. Tá brón orm nach raibh aon scéal agam maidir leis an Lotto agus na nótaí seo á ullmhú agam don Herald. Cluiche iontach ag na Dubs in aghaidh Cill Chainnigh ar an Domhnach agus go n'éirí leo san ath-imirt ar an Satharn seo chugainn.
