Spurs' silverware drought could be over very shortly

After the last four teams in the League Cup were decided in midweek and the draw for the semi-finals was made, Tottenham Hotspur don't look a bad bet to lift the trophy at 9/4.

Spurs really do look to have turned a corner under Mauricio Pochettino after a frustrating start to his reign at White Hart Lane and after drawing Sheffield United in the semi-finals you would imagine they will be good enough to set-up a meeting in the final with Chelsea, who should overcome a lacklustre Liverpool.

The semi-finals are over two legs, though, and with the final on March 1 and Chelsea likely to be still on the road for all four trophies by then, the League Cup is undoubtedly the one that will attract least concern and, therefore, Spurs are worth taking a chance on now.
