STEPHEN Kenny admits that his Dundalk stars flopped at their international audition.

Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane went to see the league champions at home to Bohemians but Kenny's much-vaunted players had an off night with a 2-1 loss.

"A lot of the players are wanting to do well and maybe there is an element that they try too hard to do well," said Kenny.

"Obviously, you want the players to be at their best. Nobody really played well enough to say they merit an [international] inclusion, but the rest of the season we've been excellent.

"Bohs have taken points off the top teams, we got done, and we have to make sure we bounce back in the right manner, I'm sure we will."
