Jurgen Klopp believes his players are "on fire" at the moment in advance of a difficult Christmas programme.
"Everybody is on fire, we're all really on track," he said in a confident boast to Liverpool fans.
Tough fixtures against Stoke on Tuesday and Manchester City three days later will stretch a squad which has coped well without key man Philippe Coutinho who is still waiting to return to full training.
Sadio Mane will be missing for January because of the African Nations Cup and Klopp is keeping a close eye out for possible deals.
"First of all, I'm really happy with the squad," he said.
"We always have an eye on the market, always, but it doesn't mean we can do what we want.
"Of course, in this moment Phil isn't involved, from the beginning of January, Sadio isn't involved. We can do things, change systems.
"Especially with Sadio we knew before it's part of the deal, we get this outstanding player who unfortunately won't be involved in January.
"In this moment you can't be sure we're prepared but it doesn't mean we'll do something.
"We're already looking for summer, and maybe we can bring these two windows together, do the right thing in the right moment. If not, we will not do it."
Countinho's return from injury is still on hold.
"Unfortunately, we don't have him back in training. I don't think it will be a long time. Everybody was thinking about the City game for example, this will be very unlikely. It was a dream of Phil's.
"It's not more likely than before, but I don't want to say impossible."
