ANDRE Villas-Boas is ready to rip up the Chelsea template put in place by former boss Jose Mourinho.
Fernando Torres was first to feel the heat when Villas-Boas told him he would sit on the bench if he didn't deliver.
Now, Frank Lampard and the rest of Chelsea's big names have been given the same ultimatum.
“We have to make decisions,” said Villas-Boas when asked about the fact that Lampard was dropped for Chelsea's win over Swansea. “I can't go on every week or every three days to discuss the choices I take,” he added.
Reports suggest that Lampard responded badly to his bench time.
And all eyes will be on the Chelsea teamsheet for Wednesday's Champions League game against Valencia to see if baby-faced Villas-Boas is contemplating retirement for a Stamford Bridge legend.
