NEIL Lennon's emergence as the leading candidate to replace David Moyes at Everton is no surprise according to Celtic stalwart Georgios Samaras.
"I haven't heard anything but all I can say is that when you are playing at a high level like the Champions League and doing well then for sure people will come and watch the players or the manager or whoever is part of the team," claimed the Greek striker.
"That is normal. When you are doing well, people will come and watch you. But I don't know what he is thinking or what he wants to do."
Everton have also been linked with Wigan boss Roberto Martinez and Goodison old boy Mark Hughes.
Chairman Bill Kenwright has promised Everton fans a "significant" replacement for Moyes.
"We've had a really good 11 year adventure with David and now it is my job and the club's job to get a worthy successor and build on what David has brought to the club and to hopefully move on from there," he said.
