ENGLAND now have the carrot of guaranteed Euro 2016 games to offer Jack Grealish in their battle to lure the Aston Villa man away from Ireland.
But England boss Roy Hodgson has told the teenager that it's time to make up his mind on his international future and he wants a decision by next month from Grealish.
While Ireland hope to boost their qualification hopes at home to Georgia tonight, England have secured a place in France, but Hodgson is growing frustrated with Irish U21 cap Grealish.
"I'm not 100 per cent certain of what he is waiting for," Hodgson said (pictured).
"I would like him to come out and say, 'I've thought about it, I've got the two possibilities and I'm opting for England' and then he will be available for selection. Now maybe before the October fixtures he might make that decision."
Séamus Coleman, who missed Friday's win over Gibraltar, trained yesterday and is ready to reclaim the right back slot while Aiden McGeady tries to force his way into the starting XI if he can prove his fitness.
