LIVERPOOL boss targets win over Palace to heap pressure on City

BRENDAN Rodgers has pledged to fight to the end in Liverpool's battle to land the Premier League title.

The Reds can go back on top of the table with a win away to Crystal Palace tonight but Manchester City will reclaim top spot if they defeat Aston Villa on Wednesday, City's superior goal difference making them title favourites.

Ahead of their trip to Selhurst Park tonight, Reds boss Rodgers says he is wary of a Palace side who have won five of their last six games but has vowed not to give up.

"All we can control is our remaining two matches. We need to win those and see where it takes us," says Rodgers. "We can't worry about anyone else, we just need to focus on our job. We will keep fighting to the end.

"What these players have achieved so far this season is remarkable. To arrive with two games to go with the possibility of achieving something people could only have dreamed of back in August shows the scale of what we've done this year."
