GAELCHOLAISTE Reachrann scooped victory in an amazing turnaround, starting in the last minute of normal time at McKelvey Park.

Setanta were on the verge of victory as Matthew Kennedy and Owen Akiana's goals helped them to a 2-1 lead. However, Seán O'Brachain managed to break through the tight Setanta defence and struck to send the affair to extra-time.

The teams' colours were the same as last year's English FA Cup final, and, once again, the Wigan-style dark blue and white stripes got the upper hand. The team became energised after their last-gasp equaliser, and quickly went two in front in additional time, with goals from Josh ó Banáin and Shane ó Aoláin (his second).

As the skillful Setanta side started to create chances, with Andrei Onea, Mohammed Diallo and Akiana to the fore, the eventual winners managed to keep them at bay. Paddy ó Choinne made a few important saves while Jack Mac Pháidín was a rock in central defence.

Man of the match: Jordan O'Dochtartaigh (Reachrann).

Referee: Paddy McHugh.

Mentors: Conor Doherty (Setanta); Cathal O'Fearghail (Reachrann).
