Reid finds Forest form

ANDY REID feels that he has proved himself at Nottingham Forest despite a tough start to his second spell at the club.

Reid played a big role as Forest recovered from a poor start to the season and avoided relegation from the Championship and the Dubliner believes he has won over boss Steve Cotterill.

"It was bitty at the start of the season, we were not picking up great results and my own form was not as good as I would have liked," admitted Reid.

"But since I have been in the team, I feel I have shown what I am all about. I have shown the fans what I can do and I have shown the manager as well.

"When he first came in, he perhaps didn't fancy me. But that can happen. Not every manager can fancy you as a player. But I kept my head down and kept working hard.

"I think I have proved him wrong, so to speak."
