REAL MADRID have today appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach on a three-year deal.
The Spanish giants sought the Italian as a successor for Jose Mourinho and have reached an agreement with the former AC Milan and Chelsea boss.
Perez also re-emphasised his belief that Cristiano Ronaldo would sign a new contract at Real Madrid, despite reports linking him with a return to Manchester United.
Laurent Blanc, meanwhile, has been appointed as Ancelotti's replacement at Paris St Germain on a two-year deal, the Ligue 1 club said today. The 47-year-old Blanc left his job as France head coach after their Euro 2012 quarter-final exit, led Girondins Bordeaux to the French title in 2009.
