The English football season eases back under the spotlight with Sunday's Community Shield clash between Manchester City and Arsenal for which City are, unsurprisingly, favourites.
City look to have a huge strength and depth in their squad for the upcoming season and although Arsene Wenger has gone and spent some money this summer, it may take a while to steady the ship at Arsenal with uncertainty still in the air over Thomas Vermaelen, who would be a big loss for the Gunners.
What team Manuel Pellegrini (pictured) will put out will be the interesting thing and it's hard to look for value in the first goalscorer market but David Silva to score and City to win could be the pick at around 29/10.
After an entertaining World Cup it would be good to see plenty of goals on Sunday but it could well be cagey enough with City shading it 2-1 at 15/2, while 3-1 is 14/1.
