PAUL Doolin has praised his "outstanding" young talents as Ireland's U19 side face Azerbaijan today.
Ireland beat the Azeris 6-0 in a friendly in Tallaght Stadium on Wednesday and the two nations meet again today at the same venue (3pm), the Irish side warming up for the Elite round of European qualification next month.
QPR man Ryan Manning and St Pats prospect Jamie McGrath stood out in Wednesday's game and Doolin is pleased with their impact. "I felt that some of the goals we scored were outstanding - Jamie McGrath's chip to make it 3-0, Jack Hallahan finished off a great move and Ryan Manning also scored a great goal," says Doolin.
"Some of our play was great - absolutely outstanding."
