IT'S first against second tonight at Tallaght Stadium tonight as Premier Division leaders St Patrick's Athletic make the short trip to face Shamrock Rovers.
And Saints boss Pete Mahon is hoping the signing of new striker Danny North will give his side a fresh look as the title run-in begins in earnest.
North made his debut as a substitute in last Friday's 4-2 win over Galway United, and the English-born frontman knows he'll have a job on his hands to break into the first XI, especially with Derek Doyle notching a hat-trick in the previous game.
"I had been at Grimsby a long time and needed a change, so coming over to Dublin is definitely a change and a big challenge," said 22-year-old North.
"I've been impressed with the training ground. The lads have made me feel very welcome and now I need to try and establish myself in the squad and hopefully get a chance or two with the first team.
"In terms of my strengths, I suppose I would have a bit of pace and like the ball to feet, also holding it up and bringing others into play would be a part of my game. I know the team are challenging for silverware this season so it would be great to play a part in helping them achieve some success."
