LOUIS van Gaal has issued a scathing response to a steady drip of criticism from Gary Neville and Paul Scholes and shoved them outside the Old Trafford circle of trust.
After praising Old Trafford old boy Ryan Giggs to the roof for delivering a "marvellous" analysis of Liverpool to his squad in advance of Sunday's big showdown, van Gaal sent Neville and Scholes to the corner with dunces' hats.
"I don't think somebody living outside the community of Manchester United can judge how we are doing. It's based on no facts," said van Gaal with disdain.
"I analyse everything we're doing and I'm not listening to the English television," added the straight -talking Dutchman.
Van Gaal's fortunes at Old Trafford are on the up and he confirmed that Radamel Falcao is fit to play, leaving Chris Smalling, Angel Di Maria, Luke Shaw and Danny Blind as the only absentees.
"We have managed our last five matches despite our list of injuries and I'm pleased by that. You have to give as a manager a lot of credit to the players because it is not so easy."
