O'Neill seals latest leg of Bray revival

Bray Wanderers' resurgence continues unabated as Pat Devlin's side secured their third win in four league games with a 2-0 victory over Dundalk last night despite finishing the match with 10 men at the Carlisle Grounds.

The home side showed no ill-effects of playing their fourth game in eight days, notching up their third win over their opposition this season.

Wanderers' top scorer Jake Kelly returned from a hamstring problem that forced him out of the Bohs game last Friday but he was only to last 38 minutes before limping off.

Bray had already made the breakthrough at that point, Derek Prendergast grabbing his first goal for the club with a back-post header from a Gary Dempsey corner in the 18th minute.

Shane O'Neill was denied a second goal for Bray seconds into first-half injury time, but he duly found the net in the 55th minute when he finished a loose ball from eight yards out, after Danny O'Connor had combined with Chris Shields on a brilliant run into the box.
