O'Halloran's Fulham feel FA Youth Cup final Blues

WATERFORD lad Dean O'Halloran had to make do with a runners-up medal from the FA Youth Cup as his Fulham side were beaten by Chelsea last night.

O'Halloran, a sub in the first leg of the final, started in the second leg at Stamford Bridge last night but the home side came out on top, winning the tie 5-3 on the night and 7-6 on aggregate.

The midfielder is in the Ireland U19 squad for two friendly games against Mexico in Dublin next week, part of the build-up to the Elite round of qualifiers for the European Championship finals at the end of this month.
