IN-FORM Irish stars Andy Reid and Wes Hoolahan will not be moving in January, their club managers have insisted.

Reid's current deal at Nottingham Forest runs out in the summer.

But last night, after Reid scored in front of the watching Roy Keane in a stunning 5-0 FA Cup win over West Ham, Forest boss Billy Davies revealed that the club had agreed a new two and a half year deal with the player.

"I'm delighted to have Reidy here, he's a very influential player. We have made him captain. I've told him to go and lead the team to the Premier League, because that would be fantastic for him as a captain and player," said Davies.

Norwich boss Chris Hughton quashed talk that Hoolahan was on his way to Aston Villa after speculation mounted that a deal was in the offing when Hoolahan didn't feature for the Canaries in their FA Cup clash with Fulham.

"Wes Hoolahan reported an injury and at this moment is having treatment," Hughton said.

"There has been no bid that I am aware of, absolutely not. It's not our intention to lose players; our intentions are to strengthen what we have got here."
