Yerry Mina's wait to make his Everton debut continues after the defender was ruled out of today's Premier League home clash with Fulham having suffered a stamp to the foot in training.

Toffees boss Marco Silva has said it is "nothing serious" and hopes that summer signing Mina - who has been recovering from an injury to his other foot - will be back in training next week.

Seamus Coleman (foot) and Andre Gomes (hamstring) are also unavailable, but Phil Jagielka could return after a knee injury.

Silva welcomed goalkeeper Jordan Pickford's new Everton deal - signed during the week - and said: "Of course it is important for us to keep our best players, and you are speaking about the No.1 goalkeeper of the England national team.

"Last season he performed, he had a very, very good World Cup, and he is a key player in our squad."
