ROY KEANE has mixed feelings about Jose Mourinho. He rates him as a manager but is less certain about whether he would have relished playing for him.
"His CV tells you that he is a top, top coach but I'm not sure. There are some coaches and you say that you would have loved to have played under them. He is probably not one of them, not the top of my list," he said in a tone which left no real doubt about his feelings towards 'The Special One'.
Asked why Mourinho wasn't on his all-time list, Keane said: "I'm not sure, he's just not on my list. But I could be wrong because a lot of the players who have played for him speak very highly of him and have a lot of respect for him.
"His record is absolutely fantastic and when you watch him, particularly in the Champions League, his record is fantastic. When you go back to luck, Mourinho has had plenty of it, but has made the most of it. He has built on it and when you look at the current Chelsea team, they are a counter-attacking team with pace with some good characters down the spine.
"He knows how to win the big games," said Keane. "When I say that I would not want to play under him, I am not being disrespectful. He obviously plays the game a lot with the media as most of the managers do.
"Do you know what, maybe I would have enjoyed playing under him! I've changed my mind!" he said with a laugh.
