FORMER Ireland international Clinton Morrison (pictured) says he's keen to stay on for another spell with Coventry City.
The 30-year-old is the club's leading scorer this season but Morrison is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and is eager to re-sign with the Sky Blues, if a deal can be agreed.
"They want me to sign so they are talking to my agent," said Morrison. "We are at the advanced stages and we will see how we go.
"I saw the gaffer last week and he just said he wants me to sign and I definitely want it to get wrapped up as soon as possible.
"I definitely want to sign but when you are a free transfer anything could come along at the last minute.
"But not if it gets sorted out quickly because if it does then I'll sign, definitely."
