McClaren sees team as heroic

IRELAND striker Andy Keogh is being investigated by his Australian club after he was arrested in a night-club incident earlier today.

Dubliner Keogh, who moved to Perth Glory last summer, was cautioned by police along with a team-mate outside a nightclub in Adelaide after playing in a 1-1 draw and Keogh is due in court next month.

"We do not condone any kind of behaviour which breaches the club's protocol and the National Code of Conduct. The players have apologised to the playing group and in due course will be making an apology to our fan base for their indiscretion" said Perth Glory CEO Jason Brewer

"The players admit the situation has embarrassed them, their teammates and our fans and they are accepting full responsibility for their poor behaviour."
