Madden's Yeovil wish granted

FORMER Bohemians striker Paddy Madden is celebrating after Carlisle United agreed to allow him remain on loan with their League One rivals Yeovil Town, writes AIDAN FITZMAURICE.

Madden (right) has become an instant hit at Yeovil since moving on a month's loan, scoring five goals in five games, and now the clubs have agreed to extend that loan deal by another two months, and Yeovil hope that the in-form striker will be allowed to feature in tomorrow's FA Cup clash with Preston, while the clubs could also come to an agreement on a permanent deal for the Finglas man.

"Carlisle gave him his opportunity in England and probably don't feel they have seen the best of him so are weighing up their side of things. It's in the balance," said Yeovil boss Gary Johnson.
