THERE have been several calls and emails about the lack of a programme at the SFAI National finals at Home Farm's grounds in Whitehall the weekend before last.

there HAS been several calls and emails about the lack of a programme at the SFAI National finals at Home Farm's grounds in Whitehall the weekend before last.

Parents, players, managers and scouts all raised their disproval at the absence of a programme although team sheets were available from SFAI personnel on request.

One well known scout vented his feelings to an SFAI official and said it reflected poorly on the association and the lack of a programme was also widely criticised from within the scouting fraternity.

"I was in three SFAI Cup finals - winning two and losing one and I still have the programmes which are treasured keepsakes as I'm sure players, parents and grandparents would agree. These are All-Ireland finals and I hope the issue is raised at the SFAI AGM because it is an issue that needs to be rectified," said the irate scout.
