STRIKER Kevin Kyle believes Rangers can win the Scottish Cup this season now confidence is high at Ibrox.
A comfortable 3-0 win over Elgin City yesterday secured progression to the fifth round ahead of today's draw at Hampden.
Kyle now has high hopes that Rangers can go all the way, despite having mixed fortunes in the Scottish Communities League Cup.
They impressed against Motherwell in their first meeting with top-flight opposition as a Third Division side, before being dumped out by Inverness in the following round. But, having strung a run of results together in recent weeks, Kyle feels Rangers are now a match for anyone.
He said: "I believe we are (good enough to win the cup).
"When you see some of the results, anyone is there for the taking."
Kyle netted his first Ibrox goal yesterday, with Dean Shiels and Kal Naismith also on the scoresheet, and could have had another had an early strike not been harshly ruled offside.
