Killester can give Crumlin the Blues

A quick glance at the Senior Division table will show a few surprise names hanging around the summit as the new season settles down.

St Pat's CY have charged to the top thanks to a hat-trick of victories, while promoted sides Killester United and Drumcondra make up what is a very unusual looking top three.

United have a further chance to impress tomorrow when they take on Crumlin United at Haddon Park.

Joey Graydon's side won their opening two games, defeating Glebe North at home followed by a highly impressive win over Tolka Rovers, and another three points tomorrow will send United joint top.

SENIOR DIVISION

KILLESTER UNITED v CRUMLIN UNITED

After defeating Tolka last week, promoted Killester now face the champions. The home side will hold no fear and after Crumlin's stuttering start, Killester will fancy their chances. Verdict: Home Win.

UCD v BLUEBELL UNITED

Bluebell got off to a steady start last weekend with an away day win over Glebe North. Tomorrow, the Bell take a trip to Belfield looking to catch UCD cold in what is the home side's first outing of the new campaign. Verdict: Away Win.

GREYSTONES v MALAHIDE UNITED

Greystones need to turn their home patch into a fortress if they are to survive the rigours of the top flight and should lay down an early marker with win over Malahide. Verdict: Home Win.

WAYSIDE CELTIC v TOLKA ROVERS

Having lost to Killester in their opening fixture, Tolka will be looking to re-start their campaign at Jackson Park tomorrow. Familiar surroundings will help Celtic's cause. Verdict: Draw.
