Kilduff claims fine hat-trick in Bray rout

CIARAN KILDUFF bagged a hat-trick as UCD recorded their third league win, a 4-0 routing of Bray, as both sides finished with 10 men.

Kilduff bizarrely prevented Paul O'Connor from opening the scoring in the 51st minute when he got in the way of a blistering strike from his colleague, but made amends when finishing a rebound from Brian Kane's save.

Kilduff made it 2-0 three minutes later when he beat the goalkeeper in the area to an Evan McMillan cross and poked into an empty net.

Kilduff bagged his hat-trick in the 71st minute when he ran on to a through ball by Robbie Creevy and blasted home.

Substitute Greg Bolger scored a fourth, but his night ended in disappointment as he and Chris Shields were sent off over a late flare-up.
