IT IS believed that World Cup-winning German midfielder Sami Khedira has reached a "personal agreement" with Arsenal over a possible transfer.
The Real Madrid star is said to want to leave the Spanish giants after rejecting a new contract and has been repeatedly linked with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea since the start of the summer.
However, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reluctant to enter talks with Khedira because he is said to have an agreement with Arsenal.
Sky's Spanish football pundit Guillem Balague said on his Twitter account last night: "Khedira: Mourinho reluctant to enter an auction cause he thinks payer has a personal deal with Arsenal. His agent denies it. Real Madrid want him to go."
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti refused to rule out Khedira's exit, despite insisting the German has not handed in a transfer request.
Ancelotti has already revealed Angel Di Maria's desire to leave the Bernabeu amid interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
But while the Italian says Khedira has made no such request yet, he appeared less than convinced the midfielder would still be at the club at the end of the transfer window.
"Khedira's situation is different than Di Maria's situation," said the Italian.
"He has just one more year to go on his current contract and he has only recently come back from a serious injury. We will see what happens, but he has not requested a transfer."
