ARSENE Wenger cranked up the heat on tonight's table-top collision with money-bags Manchester City by declaring "I don't need your cash."
With Edin Dzeko in Manchester to put the final touches to a £30m move and striker Emmanuel Adebayor tussling with skipper Kolo Toure on the training ground yesterday, Roberto Mancini (right) is struggling to keep everyone happy at Eastlands.
"When I came to England every club was run within its resources. Chelsea and Man City are new problems in football," said Wenger. "I run Arsenal like I feel it needs to be run.
"But they don't steal the money, they have it. I'm personally a big fan of the way we do it. You can also do it the way City do. They buy the best players in the world and it works. What I want to show is it works our way as well."
Victory against City would give the Gunners' title hopes a huge boost and set Wenger up for the months ahead.
