ROY KEANE (pictured) has offered Irish youngsters Shane O'Connor and Ian McLoughlin new contracts at Ipswich Town.
The Tractor Boys are preparing for next season and have already told a number of senior players, like keeper Richard Wright, that they can leave, but Cork-born defender O'Connor and keeper McLoughlin are being kept on.
"Shane has been one of the positives for us this season. He came on trial last summer when he was looking for a chance and he's done well," said Keane.
"We have offered him a two-year contract. Jack Ainsley, Reggie Lambe, Troy Brown and Ian McLoughlin have all been handed one-year extensions.
"I have spoken to all of them and they are delighted to have been offered another year."
