Keane aiming for MLS glory

ROBBIE Keane is heading for the third major trophy success of his USA career after LA Galaxy last night qualified for the MLS Cup final.

Though Keane failed to score and his side lost 2-1 to Seattle Sounders, the Ireland captain and his club were celebrating as they go through on away goals and now face New England Revolution in the MLS Cup final next Sunday. Keane has previously won the trophy with LA Galaxy in 2011 and 2012.

Galaxy are now the Western Conference champions and will face new New England in LA next weekend.

"We haven't won anything yet," said Keane's team-mate Landon Donovan said. "Now we get one game at home to win a championship, so if anyone had said at the beginning of the year, we'd take it in a heartbeat."
