League runners-up Nurney Villa qualified for the final of the Tully's Travel Cup with victory over a game Grange FC side.
Villa drew first blood on nine minutes when their two front-men, Mick Nevin and John Miley, combined for the latter to clip a shot into the bottom corner of the Grange net.
Nurney then had a good spell of pressure and Pakie Fleming came close to doubling their advantage when his well-struck shot hit the outside of the upright and flew wide on 18 minutes.
Before the break, however, Nurney doubled their lead, John Miley unleashed a strong shot which beat Grange 'keeper Charlie Timmons to nestle in the net.
Grange really came on strong in the third quarter and unsettled the visitors' defence before they reduced the arrears when Christian Arguetta's free-kick flew past everyone to end in the Villa net on 66 minutes.
On 78 minutes, Villa's Aidan Murphy knocked down a Richard Kearney corner for Miley to finish and complete his hat-trick.
This goal seemed to take the fight out of Grange and before the final whistle Villa could have added a fourth when Miley broke free, but Timmons smothered his shot when perhaps a square ball to unmarked Nevin would have been the better option.
However, it did not matter in the end as Nurney advanced to the final in mid May.
Tops for Nurney Villa were Emmet Moore, Val and Pakie Fleming and John Miley. For Grange FC, Kieran Gahan, Colm Plant, Christian Arguetta and Paddy Byrne played well.
