Ronayne, Keavney on double to sink United

In the Ruby Oil Premier Division, leaders Shiven Rovers came from 2-0 down with 12 minutes to play to draw 2-2 at Cloonfad United.

Frank Ronayne and David Keavney scored for Cloonfad in the second half. Shane Harkin pulled one back for the Newbridge side before an own goal near the end of the game won a valuable point for the league leaders.

Castlerea Celtic moved out of the relegation zone thanks to a 1-0 win over Kilkerrin United at Castlerea.

With 40 minutes played Giles McDonagh curled the ball into the top corner of the Kilkerrin net from outside the penalty area after a well worked corner-kick involving Ronan Curran.

Dysart secured three valuable points when they beat Moore United 3-1 at Dysart. Tommie Murphy gave Dysart a 1-0 lead with 10 minutes played.

Kevin Kenny converted a penalty kick to level the game before half-time. In the second half, man of the match James Coyne scored two more for Dysart without reply from Moore United.

Only one game was played in round four of the Connacht Cup. Former Roscommon and District League side Boyle Celtic beat Skyvalley Rovers 3-1 at Taughmaconnell.

Sligo Super League side Boyle Celtic scored after only four minutes of play and added a second with 20 played.

David Grehan pulled a goal back for Skyvalley Rovers from the penalty spot after Mike Duignan was fouled.

However Boyle made sure of a place in round five when the scored again near the end of the game.

In the Athlone Nissan Division 1, Roscommon Town closed the gap on leaders Ballymoe FC to six points when they beat Rahara Rovers 3-1 at Roscommon.

The Town side also have two games in hand on the leaders. Paul Allen opened the scoring for Roscommon Town after thirty two minutes of play. Owen Hoare added a second just before half-time. Vando pulled a goal back for Rahara before Paul Allen sealed a win for the Town side in injury time
