Judge eyes Bees loan

BRENTFORD hope to complete a loan move for former Ireland U21 cap Alan Judge in the next 24 hours.

The winger has two years left on his Blackburn Rovers deal but he has been frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities this season and was again left out for Rovers' FA Cup draw with Manchester City on Saturday.

Sheffield United were keen on the 25-year-old but Brentford are now close to a deal, who still hopes to prove himself at Ewood Park, having only joined Blackburn from Notts County last summer. "I've still another two years on my Blackburn contract and I don't see it that I'm finished there," said the Dubliner.

"During the loan, I want to show the manager that I'm up to this level."
