Jose furious as late lapse costs Blues

Jose Mourinho was furious after Robin van Persie's injury-time strike denied Chelsea all three points against Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday.

Chelsea had been leading through Didier Drogba's header but Branislav Ivanovic's foul on Angel di Maria saw the defender sent off for two bookable offences.

And from the free-kick, Van Persie slammed home after Thibaut Courtois had parried Marouane Fellaini's bullet header.

The result kept Chelsea's gap at the top of the Premier League to four points and Mourinho (above) said afterwards: "We have a little space now for our mistakes . . . or for referees' mistakes."
