Hunt and Keane boost Trap's hand

STEPHEN HUNT and Robbie Keane hope to hand Giovanni Trapattoni another big boost ahead of the Euro 2012 finals today -- just 24 hours after Richard Dunne declared himself fit for battle.

Trap has concerns over the fitness and form of a number of his key players as he prepares to name his 23-man squad for the finals in just nine days' time.

Wolves' Hunt has missed his club's last eight games and needs to prove his fitness.

"Hunty is flying and he's desperate to get in a couple of games for the club before the end of the season to prove that he's fit," Wolves' Stephen Ward told the Herald.

And over in the USA, captain Keane will be praying he can start scoring again for LA Galaxy when they play FC Dallas tonight in the MLS.
