Hull may add McCann to Irish list

HULL CITY could add yet another Irish player to their squad as the Tigers are keen on ex-Burnley midfielder Chris McCann, writes Aidan Fitzmaurice.

The 26-year-old is leaving Burnley after a decade at Turf Moor and McCann's agent says that the Dubliner is a target for newly-promoted Hull – and if McCann does move, he would hook up with fellow Irishmen Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn, David Meyler and Paul McShane.

"At present, Hull and two other Premier League clubs have indicated he is on their lists. Chris would like to play in the Premier League and we have not rushed anything," said McCann's agent Gary Mellor.
