Hart: Our turning point was Roma win

JOE HART claims that last night's Champions League win over Roma in Italy was a turning point in Manchester City's season.

And the England keeper says that City aren't bothered about the identity of their opponents in the knock-out stage of the competition, City now in line to face Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona or Porto in the last 16.

"We can't get away from the fact that we started the campaign poorly, but we have come good at the right time when we needed to and we have won the game.

"It was maybe a defining performance, but we need to build on it now," Hart said after the 2-0 win in Rome.

"We got ourselves through last year and we struggled against Barcelona, so we have to look to go positive and see what we can do.

"The draw is going to take care of itself. It is what it is and we are just happy we are in it," added Hart.

"We had a bit of a slow start but you don't win the Premier League easily. We've got resolve, we've got character and we've got great players. Add that all together and you have a chance."
