John Guidetti scored a devastating hat-trick in Celtic's 6-0 win over Partick Thistle to book a place in the semi-final draw of the Scottish League Cup for Ronny Deila's side.
With Rangers making their way past St Johnstone on Tuesday all focus will be on Saturday's draw to see if it throws up a Glasgow derby.
Guidetti lived up to his Twitter nickname of SuperGuidetti with three well-taken goals - two free kicks and a penalty to take his Hoops tally to eight since his deadline day loan move from Manchester City.
On the half hour mark Celtic made the breakthrough with a stunning free kick from Guidetti. Stokes tumbled over at the edge of the box with the on-loan Swede stepping up to drive home a dipping free kick.
Any hopes for the visitors were killed off in a devastating spell either side of the interval as they were reduced to ten men and lost three more goals.
In the 43rd minute midfielder Stuart Brannigan was shown a straight red card for a wild lunge at Guidetti with Hoops defender Emilio Izaguirre popping up with a rare goal to stretch Celtic's lead two minutes after the restart.
Guidetti then clipped home a 25-yard free kick in the 52nd minute and then completed his hat-trick from the spot after he had been brought down.
Substitute Leigh Griffiths, who had replaced Stokes, quickly scored twice as Celtic turned in their best performance under Deila.
