LIVERPOOL captain Steven Gerrard has his sights set on the Premier League title after yesterday's stunning 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Anfield skipper is adamant Liverpool are genuine title contenders after they moved to within four points of Chelsea with a match in hand.

Two-goal hero Gerrard said: "We've showed that we are genuine contenders and we are going to fight to the end for this.

"We believe it but I've said many times that in football the easiest thing to do is talk the talk.

"The rest of the teams around us have to believe we're going for it."
