Forest sweat over Reid

NOTTINGHAM FOREST fear that Andy Reid's absence due to injury – just after the Ireland star had recovered following a layoff – could harm their promotion hopes.

Reid, 31, had been out for a month due to a hernia injury, but came back to feature in Forest's last two games, but their top scorer went off an hour into Saturday's disappointing 0-0 draw with Doncaster and assistant manager David Kelly has concerns over the Ireland international.

"Reidy going off with a hamstring problem caused us a bit of a problem in the second half because we lost a bit of impetus going forward. We will have a look at him and hope it is not long-term. How long he is out will depend on how badly he has done it," said Kelly.
