HULL CITY have cleared the way for Ireland striker Caleb Folan to move to the USA.
Folan has played just three games for the Tigers this season due to injury, and it now appears that they are willing to let him leave to reduce the wage bill.
The former Leeds United man is currently in the US trying to hook up with an MLS club.
"Caleb has struggled with injuries this season and, with a couple of strikers arriving at the club in the last couple of months this opportunity came up. It's worth him having a look at it - we'll see what happens," said Hull's Head of Football Operations, Adam Pearson.
Folan made his Ireland debut against Cyprus in 2008 and went on to win seven caps but has not played since September 2009.
