PAT FENLON'S Hibernians side got back on track, just in time for their local derby against Hearts next weekend, with a morale-boosting SPL win over St Johnstone last night.
A penalty save by keeper Ben Williams and then a late goal from Paul Cairney gave Hibs the a 1-0 win, coming after a run of two straight defeats as Hibs move back into second place in the league, just two points behind leaders Celtic. "It's a big three points for us," Fenlon (left) said.
"We were under the cosh a bit, they had a fair few corners which we defended quite well. Ben saving the penalty gave our players a lift and maybe deflates them a little bit," the Hibs boss added ahead of Sunday's Scottish Cup clash at Easter Road.
