PAT FENLON says he won't stick around at Hibernian if his results are not up to scratch.

The Dubliner was under pressure earlier this season after a dismal start to the campaign saw Hibs lose four games in-a-row, including a record defeat in Europe.

Form had picked up, however, and they enjoyed a run of six games without defeat before they were beaten 3-0 by SPL leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle last weekend, so while the pressure has eased on Fenlon, he insists that he's under pressure from himself.

"I know where we are at the moment is not good enough but from where I came in to where we are now, I feel we have made progress," Fenlon said.

"I know things have been difficult, the start of the season was a disaster and that's down to me as manager, no-one else.

"I believe the club is going in the right direction but I guarantee if I cannot do that, I will not hang around."
