Fenlon believes Hibs home run will be key to survival

PAT FENLON has warned Hibernians that their poor home record must improve if they are to avoid the drop from the SPL.

Fenlon's side, who take a break from the league next weekend with a Cup tie against Ayr United, are four points clear of bottom side Dunfermline and have a game in hand, but the Dubliner is still looking for improvement.

"Our home record has not been good enough over the course of the season. Dunfermline's is similar and that's why both of us are down there. It's something we have to improve, both in the short and long term," he said ahead of that Cup tie against lower-league side Ayr.

"They are playing well at the moment and are on a bit of a roll. It will be a tricky Cup tie for us but we have to go with the right attitude. If we do that, then we have the players to get us through."
