The midfielder was withdrawn after 60 minutes in the 3-2 loss against Newcastle as a precaution, and according to his manager is still not ready to play a full 90 minutes.

Martinez has also confirmed that goalkeeper Tim Howard faces up to six weeks out with a calf injury sustained against Stoke.
