England were given a clean bill of health as they completed their final preparations to face Holland tonight .

Gareth Southgate's squad trained at St George's Park in the morning before they fly out to Amsterdam ahead of Friday's friendly.

England are only missing Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand, who pulled out with a back problem on Wednesday.

He has started five of Southgate's side's past six World Cup qualifiers and will also miss Tuesday's friendly with Italy at Wembley.

Tottenham's Danny Rose and Manchester United's Ashley Young remain as the two left-backs in the squad.

Jack Wilshere back in the squad for the first time since Euro 2016, trained along with new call ups Alfie Mawson, Nick Pope, Lewis Cook and James Tarkowski.

The quartet could make their senior debuts in the next two games with Southgate having selection problems.

The goalkeeper's position remains up for grabs with Joe Hart no longer guaranteed the number one spot.

Burnley's Pope, a former milkman, is in with a serious chance after an impressive season for the Clarets having only made his Premier League debut in September.

Striker Harry Kane is missing with an ankle injury he suffered earlier in the month meaning Marcus Rashford, Jamie Vardy, Raheem Sterling and Danny Welbeck are competing up front.
