Easy pickings in a win for United

Following the international break, the Premier League returns tomorrow with last year's runners-up Manchester United facing a tricky assignment away to Everton.

Initial games after the international matches can often be difficult to call, and it could be an exceptionally difficult one for Wayne Rooney who is likely to be a victim of the 'boo boys' at his old club, along with allegations about his private life ongoing.

Rooney responded in typical fashion on Tuesday night and is probably worth siding with to at least get on the scoresheet tomorrow.

However, 11/10 to score at any time is a bit on the skimpy side and the safest bet in this one is United just to claim all three points which is 5/6.

Chelsea are hard to oppose at the moment and with the heart of their team, John Terry and Frank Lampard, both missing from England's double header, yet expected back tomorrow, punters' minds can be at ease.

West Ham are struggling at the moment and things are not going to get any better this weekend so expect another facile win for Chelsea. The champions by four or more goals is 9/2 with Boylesports.

There shouldn't be any doubt about Arsenal winning at the Emirates against Bolton, but it might be a shade closer than the 2/9 the bookies make it.

Big pressure will be on new striker Marouane Chamakh now that Theo Walcott is sidelined and Chamakh is a 100/30 shot to open the scoring.

Meanwhile, the Betting Book is hoping for a bit of a goalfest in Fulham's tie with Wolves, advising more than 3.5 goals in the game, we are going to take a chance and say that at 9/1 this may be the highest scoring game of the weekend.

Tottenham are odds against to win away to West Brom and while it is an away tie and it will be tricky, 11/10 is a big price about them surely.

New boy Rafael van der Vaart is 13/2 to open the scoring on his Premier League debut or 11/5 to score at anytime.
