Edin Dzeko completed his long-awaited move to Manchester City last night and confirmed that once he knew of the Blues' interest, there was only one club for him.
The 24-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Eastlands outfit, who are said to be paying Wolfsburg £27million for the striker's services.
He becomes Roberto Mancini's ninth signing as City boss and brings size and power to the Blues attack, something they have lacked since Emmanuel Adebayor's form started to dip.
Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz now look set to leave this month. But the giant Bosnian is happy to get the chance to settle in.
"Manchester City were my first choice and only choice," he told www.mcfc.co.uk.
"I was always attracted most to joining them. I have been linked with them for a long time and have watched them a lot on television.
"They have been playing well this season and now the speculation is over, I just want to do my best."
